Stone Carving Classes - Spring/Summer 2013

Stone carving is an ancient activity where pieces of rough natural stone are shaped by the controlled removal of stone. Owing to the permanence of the material, evidence can be found that even the earliest societies indulged in some form of stone work. -Wikipedia

  1. Scott is a wonderful artist and instructor. I've worked with him in private lessons & the group class, and Scott is always very supportive, open, and knowledgeable. He lets us develop our pieces at our own pace, and gives excellent critique / suggestions. If you want to learn how to carve stone, I highly recommend working with Scott Cahaly.
